So this last month has been filled with surprises! First off, I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Marta, when I read that she was giving a photo shoot away from her friend Ginnie. I thought, "How fun!" and posted a comment. I never thought in a million years that I would win but I did! It was totally crazy!! I went over to Ginnie's blog to take a look and saw some beautiful pictures. Chason and I are so excited!
Then, for my birthday, my mil and fil gave me this beautiful charm bracelet with a very cute "a" charm. I love it! Thank you!
My mom surprised me with these cute blocks on Mother's Day. she made them with her friend Janis. What a great gift! Thank you!
My parents went on a 7-day cruise a couple of weeks ago and Chason and I agreed to go and watch the "love puppies" and water their new lawn. While we were there, we decided to work on a few projects that we found at garage sales.
We found this dated hutch and I saw some potential in it. We decided to paint it black and replace the backing on the shelves with some bead board. We also bought some new knobs for the drawers. 
We found this changing table at a garage sale. The price was $10 (which I thought was good). Chason wanted to bargain a little and see if the lady would come down. He said that we would give her $7 for it. She said, "Don't I know you from high school?" He said, "Yes." And she said, "I'll take $5 for it." I love garage sales!
