My Birthday Party!

HI EVERYONE!!!

Yesterday, I turned one year old! I can't believe it! I can do so many cool things now and I don't need my mom's help. I really like to wonder around our apartment and pull Mommy's books off the bookshelf. I think it's so funny, but Mommy doesn't.

Mommy was really tired after the party last night, so I told her I would blog about my party.

It's was so cool! Everyone was there just for me. My Mimi Sue and Grandpa, Uncle Matt and Aunt Dee, Grandma and Grandpa Collins, and, of course, Mommy and Daddy were there. Though it was wierd seeing Grandma and Grandpa Collins at Mimi Sue and Grandpa's house.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Dee got me my first set of wheels. I hope they'll get me a bigger truck when I'm older. Uncle Matt did some really cool things to my truck. He put diamond plate in the back, so when I'm hauling some legos or rocks it won't scratch the finish. He had his friend custom upholster the seat, so it's nice and soft.

He put some Utah plates on it. The front one says "Spoiled," whatever that means.

Grandpa Welch got me a teddy bear. I love it so much, especially the big brown nose.
And then I got a whole bunch of clothes, which Mommy loved, but I don't know why, I 'd rather go around without clothes. My Grandma and Grandpa Collins got me this really fun circus animal train. It plays music and moves. I couldn't wait to get it out of the box!

After the presents, we had cake. My Mommy stripped me down to my diaper and put the cake in front of me with a big number one candle on it. I was really interested in the flame, but Mommy wouldn't let me touch it. They all watched and took pictures. I was hestitant to touch the cake. I thought Mommy wouldn't let me touch it. I picked off a little frosting and a star candy and tasted it. It was good, so I tried another. Then, out of nowhere, Mommy took hand and smashed it into my cake. I tasted it and it was really good. So I dug in and made a huge mess.

It was the best! I had a ton of fun and fell asleep on the way home. Thank you Mimi Sue and Grandpa for having my party at your house and for the teddy bear and Mom says to thank you for the clothes. And thanks to everyone who got me something. I really like everything!

Mom says I talk a lot... But I had to tell you about my day.
